Hamilton, The Original Broadcast Recording
This hot new musical based off one of the United State’s Founding Fathers, Alexander, Hamilton, was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda (that’s right, the music, the lyrics, and the book). It first made its debut earlier this year and hit Broadway in August 2015. But this is not your typical musical soundtrack. The soundtrack is littered with fun hip-hop, rap, and strong catchy chorus numbers and although I have never even seen the play or read the book, I can’t stop tuning in. Must put that on my To-Do.
